My name is Alison and I want to tell you about my favorite book called Zink.
It is about a girl named Becky Zarlow. One day at middle school Becky's science
teacher was making a food item when all of a sudden Becky felt sick and fainted
(it was because she had cancer but she didn't know it). An hour later she
woke up in the hospital. One day after chemotherapy some imaginary zebras
that only she could see walked in the door of the hospital room.They were
called the "Ze'bras". They took Becky on an imaginary adventure
to Africa just when the herd was getting chased by lions! After the chase
was over Becky returned to the hospital.
I would tell you about the ending but I guess you will have to read the book
to find out what happens to Becky and the Zebras!

After Hamelin
The book After Hamelin is really good. The town of Hamelin has a problem
with rats. They're everywhere! When a mysterious piper comes to town and says
he can get rid of the rats, the town leaders gladly accept. He puts the pipe
to his mouth, but not a sound comes out. But suddenly the street is filled
with rats and he leads them out of town. Everyone is so happy. But when the
Piper returns for his payment, the town leaders refuse. So the Piper pipes
away the children of Hamelin!
On the day of her 11th birthday, Penelope wakes up and descovers she can no
longer hear. That is the day the Piper comes back to pipe away the children.
She couldn't hear the Piper's tune. Now it's up to Penelope to bring the children
of Hamelin back!

Star in the Storm
I would recommend that you read Star in the Storm, it's a great book! It
takes place in about 1912 in Newfoundland. Maggie is a twelve-year-old girl
whose main purpose in life is to enjoy it. She and her dog do everything together
and when her dad's boss threatens to ban all non-sheep herding dogs from the
island she hides her dog to save his life. But when a ship is sinking out
in the bay she knows deep down that Sirus (her dog) can save them. What will
she do? Read Star In The Storm and find out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
