Mrs. Skerry

Mrs.Skerry went to Mount Erie Grade School in Anacortes. Her favorite games were square ball, tag, jacks, and jump rope. Some of her favorite books were the Laura Ingalls Wilder books, Caddie Woodlawn, the Wizard of Oz books, and Mrs. Piggle Wiggle.
Mrs. Skerry is now the "English as a Second Language Teacher" at Northern Heights Elementary. She volunteered in the schools when her first child was in kindergarten 18 years ago. She has been working for the school district for 12 years.
Mrs. Skerry feels nervous and shy when she starts something new, like going to a new school, but she knew some of the teachers already at Northern Heights. She thinks the new school is beautiful.
Mrs. Skerry has a husband and two grown daughters. She loves this area and likes to go hiking in the mountains. She also likes to garden, read, and sew.
