Mrs. Barrett started working with children when she was 16 years old. She has been working with children for 25 years. She went to school in Citrus Heights, California, which is a suburb of Sacramento. Her favorite games as a kid were chess and square ball. She liked the books Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel, Brighty of the Grand Canyon, and Nancy Drew Mysteries.
Her favorite things about Northern Heights are the great kids and teachers, the brand new building, and getting to plan things for the school. She likes to read, cook, sew, travel, and shop on ebay.
